ART THERAPY CAN BE...

Experimenting, joy of life, feeling yourself, becoming calm, unfolding, growth, letting go, changing perspective, marvelling, discovering, connecting, seeing from within, inspiring, moving on, self-efficacy, laughing, crying, creativity, fast, slow, loud, quiet, breaking out, settling in, breathing, relaxing, trusting, sadness, anger, realisation, medicine, balance, integration, feelings, adventures, gratitude, ...

WHAT DO YOU EXPERIENCE?

WHAT IS ART THERAPY?

Art therapy belongs to the creative and special therapies and is very diverse in its areas of practice. Basically, it is about getting into action with artistic media, trying things out and getting to know oneself in a new way.

The body remembers everything we experience unconsciously and thus other themes can become visible through movement and creating. One of the main potentials of art therapy is to shift from the head and thinking more into acting and feeling. Everything that becomes visible can enter into a healing process.

In my art therapy practice I work inclusively, accompanying, supporting, mindful, value-free, intuitive, inspiring. It is important to use the artistic materials as a tool for expression. There is no right, no wrong. No beautiful, no ugly. Here there is simply playful experimentation and getting to know yourself better.

I create a safe and protected space that is ready for you. In life we move from one inner process to the next and that is where it is important to be able to express what perhaps cannot be put into words.

There is always an inside and an outside. Sometimes we are too much on the outside and forget to look into our inner world.

The art therapeutic triad represents all three components of an art therapy session. Besides the verbal exchange, there is also a non-verbal one happening in art therapy - the artistic expression, which is the third component.
